In New Orleans, if you feel you need to see a psychotherapist, there are a few options available for you. When dealing with ANY Tulane providers always make sure to clearly identify yourself as a Tulane medical student.
The student health center is free of charge, regardless of who your insurance is through, and you can set up continuous care with one of the therapists or psychiatrists through the student health center. It is sometimes possible to be seen the same day but it is wise to schedule well ahead whenever you can.
